Miki Cruz playing latin soul, rumba and the spirit of the Gipsy Kings

Miki Cruz

Latin soul, rumba, and the spirit of the Gipsy Kings

As the sun climbs over the Walled Garden on Sunday, 24th May 2026, Miki Cruz brings the “warmth, fire, and passion” of Spain and South America to the stage. While his roots are in flamenco, Miki is a master of the Latin Groove, igniting the afternoon with a high-energy fusion of rumba, Latin pop, and timeless Spanish ballads.

For over two decades, Miki has captivated audiences across the UK, Spain, and Latin America. Inspired by the rhythmic power of the Gipsy Kings and the soulful melodies of Diego el Cigala and Luis Miguel, his performances are an “uplifting journey through the heart of Latin music.” Whether it’s a fiery rumba that gets the crowd moving or the romantic soul of a bolero, Miki’s vibrant energy is infectious.

“We are lucky to once again have Miki Cruz entertain us... He certainly caused some hearts to flutter and hips to jiggle in the audience!”

A vibrant journey of rhythm

Miki’s set is a unique mix of Spanish and international favourites, reimagined with his authentic, “Latin-soul” style. His repertoire moves seamlessly between:

  • Fiery rumbas & latin pop: High-energy rhythms designed for a festival atmosphere.

  • Romantic tangos & soulful boleros: Capturing the elegance of a Mediterranean evening.

  • Timeless ballads: Reimagining the works of legends like Buena Vista Social Club and Alejandro Fernández.

With his powerful vocals and rhythmic guitar work, Miki Cruz provides the perfect soundtrack for a fun Sunday afternoon of live music, uniting the audience in a “shared celebration of melody and rhythm.”
