Blues Guitar hits the Purbeck Guitar Festival with the Chris Corcoran Trio
If you’re looking for the “guitarist’s guitarist,” look no further than Chris Corcoran. He’s a multiple UK Blues Award nominee and also a finalist for ‘Blues Instrumentalist of the Year’.
Corcoran is also widely considered one of the finest blues and R&B players in the country.
See him at the Purbeck Guitar Festival where he will bring a “thrilling and fascinating” energy to the stage. Chris and his trio offer a completely original presence and their performance is a masterclass in instrumental blues. Their performance will blend decades of experience with a style that is as exciting as it is sophisticated!
Whether he’s headlining a sold-out show at London’s iconic 100 Club or the New Year’s Eve spectacular at ‘Ain’t Nothin’ But’, Chris delivers “pure class” every time he picks up the guitar.
“Undoubtedly one of the best guitarists on the Continent today. Pure class.” — Valencia Blues Society
A Master of the Craft
With over 30 years of performing under his belt, Chris isn’t just a player; he’s an educator and an ambassador for the International Guitar Foundation.
His last three albums—Blues Guitar Grooves, Coolerator, and Inferno—all scooped ‘Best Instrumental Album’ awards from the influential Blues Junction Productions in the US. His latest album is soon to be released and the first two singles ‘Get Gone’ and ‘Back Chat’ are available on all digital platforms.
For the Purbeck Guitar Festival, Chris is joined by his long-standing trio:
